Core Initiatives of INSTec e.V.
Project Coordination
The initiation of contacts and the coordination of third-party funded co-operation projects combined with an international technical-scientific exchange of information, with the participation of technical universities and other scientific institutions, with particular emphasis on the participation of chairs and professors of RWTH Aachen University.
Sustainable Development
The promotion of research and development activities together with partners from the Global South. These activities should consider the specific technical, economic, ecological, cultural, and social requirements of the countries concerned. Thematic priorities are among others mobility, renewable energies, environment and infrastructure, urban development, medical technology, and circular economy, including the cross-sectional fields of information technology and the interaction of technical, cultural, and social aspects.
Industrial Research Focus
The promotion of research and development activities mentioned in b), especially those with an industrial and application focus, by awarding or arranging research and subcontracts for cooperation projects.
Professional Associations
Co-operation with other national and international technical-scientific associations and institutions, such as engineering associations, specialist groups, and government institutions in Germany and abroad.
Talent Development
The promotion of young technical and scientific talent, for example by organizing scientific and technical events such as workshops and conferences. This also includes participation in further training and specialization courses.
Knowledge Exchange
The promotion of traveling to specialist lectures, specialist presentations, and trade fairs, as well as the granting of subsidies for this and for the printing of scientific and technical publications.
Scholarships and Grants
The awarding of scholarships and grants to particularly talented and needy students and doctoral candidates.
